"If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." Jn.15.7.NIV
What a wonderful promise! And all we are to do is to remain in Him at all times.
You see, God knows each of us and our desires. He said this promise not just because He wants to bless us, but because He wants to establish a relationship with us. Continue to fall in love with God and surely, the author of love will bless you more than what you can imagine. We have a mighty God! :)
Celebrate Jesus' love as we celebrate Christmas holiday with family and friends!
Have a pleasant Monday and a blissful week! c",)
I Believe
Artist: Lenny Leblanc
Like a ship on troubled waters
Many sail alone
Mothers weep for sons and daughters
And pray they will come home
For soon it will be harvest time
And all the storms will pass
O what joy I'll find
When I see You at last
You are my resting place
Along the narrow highway
You are my bridge
Across the open sea
You are my Savior
And my passageway to Heaven
O Jesus I believe in You
O Jesus I believe
Father You have seen my struggles
And You have known my fears
But Lord You've been so faithful
To wipe away my tears
So when the world laughs at me
And says I'm just a fool
I will bow my knee
And worship only You
I believe You are the only answer
To life's questions
Lord help me keep my heart
In the right direction.

Christmas in everyone's heart... |
I just realized I haven't posted anything yet this month. Quite busy, that is.
Okay, one of the highlights in the past days, as we welcome December, was our Christmas Outreach last Saturday. I have so much to share about our experiences but to sum it all up, the event was just well worth everybody's time ..a time for blessing, a time for reflection, and a time to really go out and share the love God has taught us.
"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God." 1Jn4.7
And last Sunday, I was so blessed to hear God's word at the church service. And I'm looking forward to hear more of Him, the One born in a manger. I was also happy to hear the meaning of "Bethlehem" in Hebrew. It means "house of bread!" Perhaps that's another reason why God has blest and continues to bless our family bakery business, because Bethlehem in Tagalog (or in spanish) is "Belen"
I really have so much to thank God for. :)
I can feel Christmas in everyone's heart, so allow me to share this wonderful song to all of you. Enjoy and have a good night!
God bless. ciao! c",)
Christmas in Our Hearts
Artist: Jose Mari Chan
Whenever I see girls and boys
Selling lanterns on the street
I remember the child in the manger as he sleeps
Wherever there are people
Giving gifts exchanging cards
I believe that Christmas is truly in our hearts
Let's light our Christmas trees for a bright tomorrow
Where nations are at peace,
And all are one in God
[Chorus:]
Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holiday
This season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let him be the one to guide us as another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts
In every prayer and every song
The community unite celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ
Let love like that starlight on that first Christmas morn
Lead us back to the manger where Christ the child was born
So come let us rejoice
Come and sing the Christmas carol with one big joyful voice
Proclaim the name of the Lord
[Chorus:]
Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holiday
This season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let him be the one to guide us as another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts
[Chorus:]
Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holiday
The season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let him be the one to guide us as another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts

Reason for this Season |
'tis the season to be jolly
Fa la la la la la, la la la la
I love this holiday season. It's the busiest time of the year. And to Pinoys, Christmas has started as early as September, because to most "BER" marks the beginning of December Season, Lol.
As the year enters 4th quarter, we'll find lots of people preparing for this holiday. High-priced airline tickets, yearend batch prep, adorned streets with glittering lights, sale, shopping spree, heavy traffic, parties, raffle prizes, and gift-giving. Yes, it's the time of the year where almost everyone are excited to share their blessings -- a cool atmosphere rife with generosity =)
My friends initially didn't plan for a Christmas party as most of us will be flying back home and we have committed to do an outreach instead. But we just simply couldn't resist the joy of gift-giving. So when our lovely sister Jejen (the "energizer"..rather, the "organizer) sent out Kris Kringle invites, she received an overwhelming response :)
Here are my makukulit friends (Thanks Jejen for this pic!)
Well, I believe the highlight of this festive season is not food, long vacations, cold weather, christmas decors, nor parties, but the spirit of giving. God started this when He sent his one and only son into this world to offer us all the gift of salvation (Jn3.16). The good news about God's gift was revealed to people by God's angel when Jesus was born.
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. (Lk2.9-11)
And Jesus also confirmed why he came, ...God wants us to experience abundance through Him.
"...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (Jn10.10.NKJV)
What a great joy knowing this wonderful gift from above. And I'm thankful I have received this gift. I hope we're sharing the same experience. I'm also grateful for my family and friends :)
For this holiday season (or in any other seasons), no matter what gift(s) we receive, let's continue to be thankful (1Th5.18), and acknowledge the gift-giver. And most importantly, in the same way, let's remember to acknowledge God for all these, after all He is the reason for this season.
Thank you all! Thank you Lord! and Happy Holidays!!! c",)

Life Blog: 'tis the season.. |
I just got home. I went out had some fellowship with friends. 'Just played pool with 'em then visited couple other friends.
I ran some errands & hadn’t actually finished much of my chores and yet I already felt somewhat bushed. This seems to be a pretty tiring weekend (well, what's new?!?).
The streets are gettin busy, some people are shopping for gifts, Christmas jingles bein played everywhere, and my fidgety body calling out for a kitkat break. Although not everyone celebrates Christmas, I believe this season is much more exciting than other holidays. Others have already gone decorating their houses with lanterns and colorful dazzling lights (even as early as September -- those who got used to garnishing their houses with warm & lovely decors as the month hits “ber”,hehe). I love this holiday season because people tend to enjoy giving & sharing and they become more creative. December is always the busiest month as it marks the end of the year, at the same time we prepare to welcome the brand new year. What gift should I get for my loved ones? What have I accomplished the past months? What do I plan to achieve this coming year? These are the typical questions we ask ourselves as we observe this holiday season.
Ahhh, weekend is over and I hate to think I need to get up early again to start with my stressful work. Anyway, its part of my routine so I must go now..
ciao! c",)
